This is a field of winter wheat with about 6-8 inches of growth.
You can clearly see through
NDVI
the areas that were double seeded during planting and small areas where
there are skips. The blue areas are dormant grass.
This is a very nice stand of irrigated corn. There is very slight
changes in Red but for the most part this a one good looking field.
"Traditional" Processing
Looking at the field on the right you can see what looks like a couple
plugged boots on the outside edge of the seeder. The blue areas around
these two fields are not modified in any way. There is simply nothing
else that is growing. All the grass is still dormant.
"Modern" Processing
This is the same photo as on the left however the "Modern" color scheme
was used for processing. In this image all the dense/healthy vegetation
is represented by the color green instead of red.
"Traditional" Processing
As you can see there are areas of this crop not doing so well.
My guess is standing water was to blame."
"Modern" Processing
Same as the photo on the Left except this was processed using the
"Modern" color scheme.
